Coco
- 2016 Miniature Donkey mare
- Rescued 2018
- She was unknowingly pregnant when she was rescued and sadly had a still birth one month after rescuing her
- She got pregnant in summer 2021 by a donkey we rescued and had many fields away and he somehow got through 6 fences and in with our donkeys for a short time but long enough to impregnate Coco (this is why we dont take stallions) Ed was happy about this as she could finally have a baby after loosing the other one when she was rescued.
- She was owned by our beloved friend Ed Spokoski that volunteered at DCHR but he sadly passed away 7/25/2022 we promised him that all his animals would live here forever and be taken care of for the rest of their lives
Eddie

- Eddie was born exactly 24 hours after her owner passed away, so we named her Eddie in honor of Ed
- She is the sweetest natured donkey we have ever been around, and Coco is the best mom to her
- She will live with her mom for the rest of her life and never be seperated

Our mission at DreamCatcher horse rescue is to rescue, rehabilitate and educate. We strive to rehabilitate each equine with their own individually required vet care, farrier care and nutritional needs. We provide a safe shelter, personal attention and unconditional love so that we can heal their traumatic past. We invite our community to our facility for educational equine programs. We want to share the rewarding love and joy our equines give back to us. Our goals are to create awareness and to educate the community on preventing cruelty, rescue and rehabilitation. Our commitment to these equines is to be their voice and give them the chance they deserve.
