TRAIL RIDING

The trail rides can be made by appointment. The ride itself is approximately 45 minutes long. Each horse is matched to the rider’s ability and the rider rides in the arena before going out on the trail to get comfortable. Trail rides are $35. A trail ride with a full barn tour is $45 per person.  Please note trail riding is not for complete beginners as you need to be able to steer and control the horse yourself. However, if your child has no experience, we can offer a side walker (when available) for $10 extra charge. If you have no experience riding horses then please consider the lessons we offer – we have a hands on fun and educational lesson program with no long term commitment.

RIDING BY THE SESSION- We offer riding sessions for intermediate to experienced riders – this is not for beginner riders.. You can schedule one in the morning, afternoon or evening. The session is approximately 1 hour long. It consists of matching the horse to the rider, grooming the horse, tacking up and riding for about 45 min-1 hr. After you ride, you untack the horse and put him/her away. Each session is $25 per person. The first time you do a riding session, we will help you and show you where everything is. After that, you do everything on your own. You must have some riding experience and be comfortable to be on your own to do a riding session. After we have assessed your riding ability you may be able to ride out on the trails during riding sessions alone.

HORSE BOARDING- We have a couple stalls left for boarding. We offer full board for $400 per month. It includes hay and feed, feeding twice daily (Coastal/Tifton hay and Seminole grain), turning out, cleaning, and lots of love! Your horse will receive a stall. The stalls have fans and are lighted. You can use everything our facility has to offer. We also have partial boarding for $200 per month which includes everything that full board offers except you provide your own feed and hay. Partial board includes a stall for the horse to eat and get out of the wind and sun. Your horse is treated like one of our family members, you and your horse would be very happy with us! Additional services available and we can suit individual needs, extra fees may apply, please ask!

HORSEBACK RIDING LESSONS- We offer beginner horseback riding lessons, any age and riding ability is welcome. We have horses to suit all needs. A beginner lesson is $30 and is very hands on. You get the horse, groom, tack, untack and put him/her away. The riding lesson is about 30 minutes long, but you will be here for an hour. If you are looking for more advanced lessons, we have a trainer that comes out weekly to give lessons. Those lessons are of whatever type you are looking for whether it be English, Western, Hunter/Jumper, Dressage, etc. For a 30 minute lesson it is $30 plus $10 to use our horse. For a 60 minute lesson it is $50 plus $10 to use our horse.. We also offer western riding lessons with our new trainer Lynne Pierce

HORSE/PONY KIDS CLUB We now offer a fun way to introduce your children to horses and learn all about safety, feeding, caring for horses and learning to ride without huge expense! We offer a monthly club for your children to attend, no pressure-learn at your own pace. Each meeting has a theme learning experience and they all get to ride. Just $25 membership fee (includes club t-shirt) and then $25 each meeting). Clinics will also be available in addition or lessons if required to help bring riding along quicker but not essential. Children will be tested at various stages when ready to progress to next level. Test fees will apply but will also include bracelet, then charms for each level they pass. Meetings are usually first or second Saturday of the month 9.30 – 12 noon. Please ask for more details or date and availability of next meeting.

HORSE LEASING- Do you like the idea of owning your own horse without the extra costs? Then lease one of ours! You can choose how often you’d like to ride and we suit your lease to however you choose. All tack is included. You can ride in the arena or the trails, depending on what horse you choose and your experience. If you want to ride 2 days during the week, it is $100 per month. If you want 1 weekday and 1 weekend day, it is $150 per month. If you want both weekend days it is $200 per month. Full exclusive lease (no one else rides the horse) is $300 a month. All leases are plus farrier fees (approx $35 every 6 weeks) Please note you have to be able to catch, groom and tack the horse yourself as the lease is unsupervised. Therefore only people with this experience and who feel comfortable around horses can lease. If you need to gain the experience needed we can put you on our lesson schedule to enable you to reach this goal.

PONY PARTIES- We have some really nice ponies and horses available for pony parties. We can customize to suit individual needs. All children have a pony or horse ride and get to give treats to some of the horses. The children may not get to ride at the same time depending on how large the group is. They also get to paint a craft. The party time allocated is a 2 hour slot and is $15 per child with a 4 child minimum. We have a picnic area with 2 large picnic benches and a gas BBQ grill ($10 additional charge for use of gas if you want to bring food.) There is also a small animal petting area. You are welcome to bring decorations, games, piñatas etc, just not too many balloons as they may scare the horses J

The barn tour with a pony ride is $15, for kids who want the barn tour but don’t want to ride it is $10 per child. Adults are $5 each with a paying child.
