Levi is a 27 year old appendix who was abandoned and found wandering eh streets by animal control.
He was brought home to DreamCatcher and we started the process of getting him healthy again despite all the odds being against him.
He was painfully thin, could hardly stand and had a heart murmur.
With sponsorship help from Jane, he is on the road to recovery and will be going to his new forever home shortly with Jane where he can retire in 5 acres of pastureland – Levi is on the right.
Our mission at DreamCatcher horse rescue is to rescue, rehabilitate and educate. We strive to rehabilitate each equine with their own individually required vet care, farrier care and nutritional needs. We provide a safe shelter, personal attention and unconditional love so that we can heal their traumatic past. We invite our community to our facility for educational equine programs. We want to share the rewarding love and joy our equines give back to us. Our goals are to create awareness and to educate the community on preventing cruelty, rescue and rehabilitation. Our commitment to these equines is to be their voice and give them the chance they deserve.
