Legacy came to us from animal control with a large cancerous growth on his leg and very underweight.
We helped him through surgery to remove the growth – luckily they got all the cancerous so we hope and pray it will not return.
He has been adopted by Cecelia (CC) who just fell in love with him and has helped to nurse him back to health.
They are the best of friends and look forward to a long and happy life together!
Our mission at DreamCatcher horse rescue is to rescue, rehabilitate and educate. We strive to rehabilitate each equine with their own individually required vet care, farrier care and nutritional needs. We provide a safe shelter, personal attention and unconditional love so that we can heal their traumatic past. We invite our community to our facility for educational equine programs. We want to share the rewarding love and joy our equines give back to us. Our goals are to create awareness and to educate the community on preventing cruelty, rescue and rehabilitation. Our commitment to these equines is to be their voice and give them the chance they deserve.
